Mary Olsen is a working artist driven by a belief that art instruction is an integral part of a quality education.

Mary founded Art Start NW to bring enrichment into Edmonds Public Schools. That mission expanded with the creation of Graphite, a physical home for artists to work in their preferred medium, collaborate and show their work.

Mary’s commitment to making Edmonds a center for visual art inspires teachers, Art Start NW staff and visitors every day.

Dana is a happily retired grandmother with a deep background in the business side of journalism.

Twenty six years of her career were spent in sales and marketing management at The New York Times, in New York, San Francisco and the Pacific Northwest.

She also served as Associate Publisher at Seattle Weekly and Director of Business Support at KUOW Public Radio.

Beth is a true Northend native, growing up in Richmond Beach and spending the last four decades in Edmonds. For 20 years she has been fortunate to express her passion for travel with a career in accounting with local travel guru, Rick Steves.

Now retired, she is excited to share her expertise in finance and enthusiastically supports the mission of Art Start NW.
